Meet the Team
Laura Bauder
LPC, ATR-BC, CAADC, CCTP
Founder and Clinical Director
Professional background: Laura (she/her) graduated from her art therapy and counseling program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2018. She began working with dual diagnosis (substance use and mental health) clients immediately, and found a deep passion for all persons struggling with addictions, trauma, and grief (as well as disenfranchised grief). She co-owned a private practice from 2021-2026, focusing on grief and trauma. In 2026, Laura launched Acorns to Oaks Wellness and Therapy Services to expand client care from individual therapy to mind-body-spiritual wellness. Laura offers individual session to adults over 18. She offers group therapy to adults and adolescents 14+. Laura is able to accept private pay clients, and most major health plans. Laura also offers supervision for post graduate students seeking their ATR, LPC, and CAADC.
*At this time (April 2026) Laura does not have availability for new clients or supervisees. If you would like to work with Laura, please contact her to get a sense of how long her anticipated waitlist may be for these services.*

Laura outside of being a therapist: Laura is an avid native gardener- supporting our pollinators, a rock hounder (if you don't know what that is, feel free to ask her), a kayak enthusiast, and a proud dog momma. She enjoys thrifting with her bestie and she is a fiber artist who loves quilting, stitching, and creating with recycled and natural items.
New staff member coming July 2026!
MA, ATR
While we aren’t ready to announce this new staff member just yet…
We will share that she is a registered art therapist and counselor with 9 years of experience. And she is one of our favorite group facilitators with a passion for watercolors and collage.
She works with individuals of all ages, and specializes in grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bullying, family dynamics, and spiritual connectedness.
She is deeply spiritual, a fabulous momma, cat momma, wife, and soon to be a certified trauma-informed yogi!
We’re so excited to have her on board, cheer her on as she continues to grow, and thrilled that she will be joining us!
